Profile Dating Tips

No, you cannot bypass making a tagline. Asking why? Because it is one of the powerful tools that maget you your perfect match! You can start dating through these tools, and add it up to your great personality, then there’s no way that wealthymen or wealthy singles can resist you!

1.    Use a line from your favorite author, actor, or comedian. Just make sure that it is not too popular that it becomes too much of a cliché, like “You complete me.” It is used way too much to be really effective. What you can do is go to your favorite search engine, type in your favorite author then find a line that may work to your advantage.

Ex: “Way down deep, I’m very shallow.” That’s a line from Dorothy Parker. It’s not really that funny, but it is a lot intriguing and it may even get you your ideal match, right?

2.    Give a funny twist to the line of your favorite poem or literary piece. This may work because it can be a way to start conversation, especially if the wealthymen or wealthy single on the other line recognizes the quote and it becomes your common ground.

Ex: “Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence in society. Thank God for Prada!” the first two lines are from Mark Twain, the last line was just a funny twist for those who can understand it anyway.

3.    Use a funny tagline from a commercial. Pop culture has a powerful and popular effect in people, and little affects pop culture more than advertisements, especially the memorable and funny ones. Most of the time, people will recognize the line, then fire off a message that will say that they recognize it too and then the two of you can reminisce on the said commercial together. Corny, but it works!

Ex: “Where’s the beef? Oh, here I am!” the first sentence is a reference to the popular Wendy’s commercial, the second is just an added phrase to make it more personal.

4.    Be funny! Again, if your imagination in making witty one-liners eludes you, then all I can say is that nobody ever got it wrong with humor. So be funny! But again, do not go for the over-rated and over-used ones.

Here are some of the oldies but goodies lines that I have seen:

“I used to think I was indecisive, but now I’m not too sure.”

“A song from your lips is like an aria from heaven.”

“Do you have room in your life for another friend?”

“Can I have directions to your heart?”

“I don’t know you, but I love you already.”

Most of you might roll your eyes, but admit it, these lines did elicit a smile from your lips.

5.    Make it personal. Again, you can always try to make the tagline very personal, which speaks something of yourself. This would really, really work, especially if you are creative and enjoy writing. Or you may ask a literary-minded friend to whip up a tagline just for you!
